My proudest achievement in life is being a mother of five amazing children. Three have grown successfully to adulthood, one is still at home in fourth grade, that I’m homeschooling, and, unfortunately, my daughter Mia passed at 7 years old. It’s a long story, but a big part of who I am. Fourteen years ago I founded a non-profit to serve kids in foster care which quickly became the largest volunteer effort in the state of Oklahoma. We partner with the community to make sure that no child in foster care is without a gift every Christmas. That is how I met three of my children.
My youngest two, "the twins", were both born with only half a heart (Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome) caused from drug exposure while they were in their mother’s womb. I quickly learned to be a caregiver for medically fragile kids and an advocate for organ donation. I lived in the hospital with my youngest daughter during the first few months of her life until she received her gift of a new heart. She passed away after she developed cancer (PTLD) from the anti-rejection meds that she had to take to keep her body from attacking her new heart. I was consumed with her care and am now struggling to find my "new normal"(this is the inspiration for the name of my channel). I started a 501c3 Non Profit charity to honor her, Team Mighty, as we called her Mighty Mia. I’m happily married after finding my best friend and true partner in life, Charles Davis. He was the GM of Bob Moore Subaru and had worked very hard to get his dream of accepting Crypto at the dealership to come to fruition! He’s currently retired thanks to crypto and enjoying every minute of it!
My mom , @CryptoNana4LTC, shared Crypto with us as a wedding gift in 2017 and we dove in head first. We watch YouTube videos of our favorites like @BenSemchee , @DollarVigilante , @Jsnip4 , @BixWeir and, of course "Uncle" @Clif_high ! Our Crypto journey is how we both got "RED PILLED"! Now the people we were watching to learn about cryptocurrency are some of my closest friends! After helping Bitcoin Ben with his first meetup on his Crypto World Tour, I was encouraged by @JohnKim77 to start a YouTube channel to share the stories of individuals Crypto Journeys! The channel has quickly grown to cover many topics, everything from grief to politics to cryptos to woo woo and more! I’ve been banned by YouTube twice but the community is loyal and I don’t give up easily. I love my country and my community and will continue to fight for freedom until my last breath!
